Vintage 4 7/8" tall Dr. Blumer's Lone Star Blood Remedy bottle label. These are perhaps the oldest of the Blumer's labels, and one of the very best for pasting on a bottle. Circa 1900 or earlier. Says "The Best Blood Purifier and Stomach Tonic Known" "Eliminates all impurities from the blood... liver and kidney complaints, stomach trouble, gall stones, biliousness, jaundice, weariness of the limbs, headaches..... or in fact by any other symptoms". So, basically it cured everything. Remedy bottles and labels are widely collected and this is a really good one. We acquired them from the estate of Zane Shaffer who was one of the largest country store dealers on the East Coast. Excellent unused condition.
